Our local river can always be good for a big surprise, that's for sure. But nobody really reckoned with a 90cm zander inhaling Nisse's 23cm shad. This remained the only fish for Sunday afternoon and set a lucky end to a busy fishing week.
October-Pike
Weather and also fishing in October have been pretty much up and down so far. From bright sunshine to heavy rain and lots of mist. Taking habits were not as good as we were hoping for. But lots of fishing, mainly jerk and spinning, throughout last week finally brought us a few fish. Top at 102 cm on a shad.
