Some rain and heavy winds have livened things up recently. Pike seemed to be absent throughout the months of October and November. Water levels in ponds and rivers were on a summer low, paired with extreme clarity. Highlights so far are a 3.5 pound chub on a 15cm soft shad and two pike to 83cm taken on Big Bandit and giant Sandra. Yesterday I blanked completely with dead roach and sardine although fishing 4 different spots throughout the day.
